Paderno World Cuisine 13-Inch Meat Pounder, Stainless Steel

The best meat pounder around.
I love the weight, width, and solidity of this pounder. I was able quickly flatten a bunch of chicken breasts without tearing them. The width and weight of the item makes a very quick and easy job out of flattening any piece of meat.

Paderno World Cuisine 14 1/8" Chef's Knife with Forged Blade

Do you need this?
I had to ask my self three questions when I purchased this knife. Was it a good deal? Yes, for the amount i paid for it (under $35 shipped, used like new), and the quality of the steel, I would have been happy with almost any sized knife. But do you need a knife this big? Can is possibly be useful? HELL YES!!!! Who doesn't want a freakin' sword! Parsley beware... I even carved a turkey with it once, being in a pinch for a carving knife. It was a bit heavy for the job, but with a long draw and a pretty sharp blade (after some touch-up) it did a neat job of it. Probably wouldn't have bought this product at the list price, so thanks Amazon for the hook-up. Paderno World Cuisine 14 1/8" Chef's Knife with Forged Blade
Heavy, But What Do You Expect?
This knife is wonderful, but if you have weak wrists or do not need 14.125 inches, then I would avoid it. It's a little hard to maneuver, especially on anything but a huge cutting surface. I love the weight, as I do a lot of poultry butchering--it makes things so easy. It wasn't very sharp when it came, but now that I have sharpened it, it holds its edge beautifully (of course, this is coming from someone who finally gave up his 13 inch carbon steel knife, acquired in 1977).
Its almost a sword
This knife is huge, my 10" fit on top of the blade. One things for sure! Your going to need to buy a bigger cutting board. The tip of the blade was not very sharp, had to get out my stones and extra long steel to get a nice edge. "

Paderno World Cuisine 8 quart stainless steel food mill with 1/8 inch sieve

This is the one
I've used three of these at different restaurants. Nothing compares. It's way more expensive than it should be for a chunk of steel, and yet the cheaper alternatives don't work the same magic. Get silky smooth purees without gumming up the starches. Mill tomatoes, peppers, chick peas and you get all the goodness, leaving the tough plasticky skins behind. This is one of those rare tools that gives you a result that you can't get by any other method.

Paderno World Cuisine Stainless-steel Heavy Roasting Pan with Folding Handles

Absolutely fantastic
This is the best roasting pan I have ever seen. It is HEAVY with thick enough bottom and walls. It is comparable to one made by Mauviel also with folding handles. I own a couple of items made by the ITALIAN Paderno that are sold by World Cuisine in the US, and I am absolutely impressed with their quality. For one thing they are heavy gauge stuff. I understand that they were originally made for hotels and commercial cuisines that get them heavy and rough use. So they are not as pretty as All-Clad or some of the other well known and very expensive roasting pans, but they are heavy duty, well made, durable, and absolutely functional. In my opinion you can't go wrong with these. One other thing that is an advantage is the folding handles. I cannot stand those tall fixed handles that most other brands make, especially when they are curved towards the inside of the pan; somehow they obstruct access to the pan and make it extremely difficult to store the pan. The folding handles allow easier...
