American Kitchen by Regal Ware Stainless Steel 12-Inch, 5-Quart Covered Saute Pan

USA-Made Long Life Cookwear
I puchased this cookeware, by the piece, years ago. I could not find it again for eons, and saw it 'rated' under another name on a PBS kitchen show. Thereafter, it appeared again as Regal Ware, as on the botton of the pan that I still own. I have appreciated this pan and the lid for years, raised a large family using it, but the one draw-back is the lid does not seal tightly enough to cook some foods in it, rice for example. I have placed foil over the saucepan, and shoved the lid down on top of that when I needed a tight-fitting lid. Otherwise, I love this produce.

Additionally, in spite of being known as a 'great cook,' I secretely know that I can burn a pan "to death" and have burned other brands to "toss out" stage(save for Corning!!) but until now, no one has known. This product is most forgiving; why -- I have no scientific idea.

Now, knowing that it is still made in America it is the only cookwear I would purchase.
Good Product
American Kitchen makes great USA stainless steel kitchen ware. However, this is not a comfortable handle. Picked up Cafe Collection - Wolfgang Puck at Sam's Club, about the same weight, rolled stainless steel handle, much easier to control especially when the pan is full and hot.
