Mauviel M'heritage 150b 6520.12 Sauce Pan with Bronze Handle, 0.09-Quart


Lovely Itty bitty Pot
This is a great little pot, and the price is great - as long as you know what you are getting, namely: a tiny little saucepan made of 1.5mm thick copper, stainless lining on the inside, a tiny bronze handle and no lid.

A few useful notes:

Size: This saucepan should be part of the Mauviel mini-collection, not just because of the 0.9 qt, but because the handle is shorter than those that come with the larger Mauviel saucepans. This is great for boiling 1, 2 or 3 eggs, but that's it. Because the handle is bronze, it will heat up, but face it, you're boiling an egg, how hot is it going to get? You're not searing steak.

Copper thickness: Mauviel has a few classes of copper in their M'heritage collection. The number refers to the thickness of the copper, the letter to the material of the handle:
- 250c (2.5 mm copper thickness with cast iron handles)
- 250s (2.5mm copper thickness with stainless handles)
- 150b - 250s (2.5mm copper thickness...
