Superior Quality and Very Beautiful
I sigh with pleasure when my eye catches my copper-clad Barazzoni pots hanging in my kitchen. The pots are beautiful. They have an elegant shape; a soft, but sturdy feel to the handles, and they have a nice weight--not light-weight, but not too heavy to lift or maneuver either. The line is called "Butterfly" and it was designed by Claudio Bellini. They feel good. The cool-to-the-touch handles are made of oxidized metal that creates a dull black finish that compliments and highlights the gleam of the copper. The handles are on the slim side, but they still work fine for my long, thin fingers.

Looking at the pictures, it occurs to me it might not be obvious to see the lid: It is shiny stainless steel with the same dull black handle as the pot.

But do these pots perform well? Yes, they do--perfectly.

I indulged myself with this 9 quart stock pot to augment my 6 quart and 12 quart stock pots: I wanted a quart-size in between the 6 and 12...
Well designed Stock Pot, but fails in finer quality!
From all the research I could find about this stock pot it looked like a high quality product worth buying! However, when the product finally arrived I was disappointed to discover that it came in a real flimsy inner brown cardboard box with a small branded label. Further to that the pot itself was just wrapped up in cheap cellophane with some scotch tape holding the lid down. I know this does not effect the functionality of the product, but for the price of this pot you would think they could invest in better packaging??

Anyway, the design of this pot is really nice and this is really the only credit I can give it sadly! Upon closer inspection I also discovered two minor dings on the exterior, very small probably not worth returning. BTW This pot is actually made in China but says "finished off" in Italy. It has three layers to its make up as per the description, however, I did notice that the exposed ALU layer on the lip edge had oxidized to a point where my bar cleaner...
