Love this saucepan!
I had an old Paul Revere copper and stainless steel saucepan that I bought when I got married 30 years ago. At the time, I thought it was too expensive, but I loved the look of it and read how evenly it cooks. It served me that long, with almost daily use, but then I burned it up by leaving it unattended on the stove one day, and the stainless steel lining corroded. I was so sad to let it go, that I kept it for sentimental reasons until I got my new Mauviel. This one is like the child of my old Paul Revere, and I use it everyday, too. It is lightweight and cooks very fast, but you will need to treat it with care, just like any copper pot, so read the instruction booklet on care and cleaning. This one has a stainless steel handle instead of the old Revereware brass one, and so makes it lighter in weight and cooler to the touch. Then, as a bonus, it's beautiful! Worth the money!
Nice pan
Niece pan, but make sure to wipe off the water drops after hand washing. If you leave them on, it is showing as stain like spots. They can be easily removed with the copper cleaner, but I do not want to do this too often.
