The best there is
You don't buy Demeyere because you can't cook well with something cheaper.
You buy Demeyere because: 1) you can afford it and; 2) it is simply the best there is.
It just makes cooking more enjoyable.
A perfect little pan, updated
Bought this one "used" from Creations by Christi. It was brand new, still had the stickers on it and I saved $70.00. Still expensive, but it is a beauty and works a treat on the induction side of my Viking cooktop. A perfect little pot, cooking meals for two. Highly recommended! Like the other Demeyere Atlantis line, a work of art as well as a great pot. I can see my grandaughter handing these pots down to her kids, just like my Grandma's old cast iron "chicken fryer" came to me (and I have passed it to my daughter after using it for 30 years).
Update: This little pan continues to amaze me. It is just the "right" size for two and I use it for everything (it seems). One of the best purchases I have made. This pan is used virtually everyday for heating soup, steaming rice, cooking veggies, or boiling eggs. Just a perfect size!

I believe that Demeyere is the best cookware available. It is beautiful and durable, but most importantly it is versatile. I prefer the looks of the Atlantis line to the Apollo line that is a bit more reasonably priced, but they are both very nice. I purchased two pans from Creations by Christy because they were the most reasonably priced vendor. Both products were shipped without the original Demeyere packaging, but included the literature and original tags. I can live without the packaging for a $60.00 savings. All Demeyere products come with a 30 year warranty. Demeyere cookware works on all types of cooktops including induction. Demeyere was the original company to successfully invent a product to work with induction, so why not go with the experts?
