stick after 2 weeks !
I decided to choose this wok is because it claimed non-stick, no teflon, and very high temperature coating. However, I was very disappointed because it began stick after 2 weeks. I am not sure if it happend only to my wok or because of my usage, which I double about because it claimed can be heated up to 1000 degree F and I only used the warm water to clean it. It apparently over-priced and I will not recommend my friends to purchase this product.
It's a very bad non-stick wok
I was doing some research, going through reviews, and trying to find a safe, environmentally friendly non-stick product, so I found this one - the reviews it has was very few and limited, but seems not too bad. So I decided to try out.
First of all, when I received the product, it says it is originated from Belgium, but then it is made in China!
Second of all, when I was trying out to make stumble eggs, it sticks all over, even in the first use. I previously owned a Scanpan wok for about 1 year - it was good for about 1 year, and until the very end, it started to stick when making fried rice, but then looking back, it was still performing better than this brand new Earthchef wok.
The only concerns about the Scanpan is that it still contains PFOA, that's why I am looking for the other options.
Big regret getting this one, for sure.
Can't live without it!
We bought this pan and we now use it to stir-fry everything and steam all our veggies. It cleans easily, nothing seems to stick to the pan. It is called a wok but it cooks just about everything....even rice. It has a metal plate on the bottom that makes it cook fast and evenly. Rubber handles can easily be removed to it can go in the oven. Our pan stays on the stovetop ready for the next meal.
