Le Creuset 3-Ply Stainless-Steel 6-1/3-Quart Covered Casserole

BEST PAN I EVER PURCHASED
Le Creuset 3-Ply Stainless-Steel 6-1/3-Quart Covered Casserole

I needed a replacement Dutch Oven as my Revere Ware was unsteady on my new smooth-top stove. "Good Housekeeping" magazine recently rated cookware and gave Le Creuset top scores. I decided to try one pan, and I have to tell you, this pan is worth every dollar. It cooks more evenly than any of the Calphalon pans I currently own, it pours liquids nicely, and I plan to buy the Le Creuset 8-piece cookware set in the near future. GREAT PRODUCT!
even, fast heating
Last winter I went on a soup kick -- trying to get more veggies in my diet. And I wore out my (probably cheap) soup pot. So, I invested in this one and was surprised how different it was than my old stuff. It heated up quickly, the veggies/meat browned evenly and nicely and it comes to a boil faster even though it's not on the highest heat setting.

I'm no expert in the kitchen (am trying to be though) and I definitely noticed how superior this pot is than cheaper ones.
extremely nice piece of cookware!
Very well made, thick walls, lid fits well, inside the pan are markers to indicate quart measurements. Definitely would recommend.

The Best Clad Cookware
After doing rigorous comparison shopping, including looking at commercial clad cookware like Vollrath Tribute, I consider the new Le Creuset cookware to be the best available, hands down. The lids are thicker, the pot bodies are heavier, and the handles are more comfortable. These pots and pans put brands like All Clad to shame.

Yes, they are made in China. Only All Clad, which now makes their handles and lids off-shore too (they don't tell you where) and Vollrath are made in the US. All Clad is no better than Cuisinart (which would be my second choice, and a lot cheaper) or Calphalon, now discontinued, in the clad cookware category. And All Clad is ridiculously expensive, which in my opinion is completely unjustifiable, not to mention that their handles are as uncomfortable as they come.

If I didn't care about looks I would have gone with Vollrath, but the Le Creuset are very attractive (for pots and pans). The new handles are thick and easy to grasp. The...

Great Cookware
I own some other top of the line cookware and this is as good as it gets. Great product would recommend it.

Le Creuset Forged Hard-Anodized 12-Inch Nonstick Shallow Fry Pan

The Best In Non Stick. Great For EGGS!
I own this pan in the 8" and just love it. I was looking for a good quality egg pan and this is it! I use it everyday. All the teflon on my other pans eventually peeled up and I was afraid we were eating the product! I tried other types of pan, but my eggs always stuck. I went down to the outlet and found this pan. Yes, it was pricey but if I never have to buy another egg pan...I'm happy. The very first time I used it for my eggs, they did seem to stick a bit and I started to get discouraged...don't. The pan will season itself with each cooking. By just the third time of egg cooking... no sticking what so ever! The pan has a nice beefy weight feel to it without being heavy and looks beautiful. I could not be without this pan anymore. Le Creuset continues to make high quality products and you will not be disappointed with their non stick pans.
Update: I did purchase the 12" too. Needed more room for cooking eggs for more than one person. Just as perfect as the 8" no sticking what...
Can't beat the quality
We just purchased this pan because we liked the idea that the exterior is non-stick as well as the interior. We have used their enameled cookware in the past and found it very difficult to keep the enamel clean. This one may not be as pretty but it sure should be a year from now. In addition, the pan comes with a 10 year warranty for the cook surface. It also has an extra thick flat bottom which is great for our flat range top.
excellent pan
2009 was the year we bought a bunch of new cookware, including two different brands of hard anodized pan. One was a store brand, and has begun to show its wear and tear. The Le Creuset pan is in the same condition as when we bought it, cleans up easier, and is a pleasure to cook with, as with all Le Creuset cookware it is simply above average in quality and well worth the price.

Le Creuset Tri-Ply Stainless Steel 3-1/2-Quart Covered Chef's Pan

Versatile, excellent value
I've had a handful of pieces of LeCreuset Stainless Steel Cookware for about two months, cooking roughly 19 meals per week. They're all great performers and very attractive. This line is basically All-Clad Stainless for 20% less. They are made in China, which is a sticking point for some people, but I am convinced that quality has not suffered. It's simply an incredible pan for a better price. Other reviews state that this line approaches or equals All-Clad Stainless, and surpasses Calphalon Stainless.

These pans are fully clad, meaning the aluminum core extends up the sides; it's not only in the bottom. They are incredibly responsive on my gas stovetop. I actually thought they were too fast when I first got them, but now it's just another quality I appreciate. They heat quickly and extremely evenly. You often use a lower heat to achieve the same results.

The handles are comfortable, a good length, and rarely get too hot (obviously, they get hot during oven use)...
Even heat, perfect size, & easy cleanup
This is one pan that actually lives up to all the hype and meets expectations. I highly recommend it. Shop around for the best price.

Le Creuset Tri-Ply Stainless Steel Multi-Pot Steamer Set

Compact and multi-use
Solid metal construction. I live in a condo and space is limited. The steamer holds plenty of veggies and the small pot is also great for cooking small dishes. The steamer insert has a graduated base that allows it to fit on varying sized pots, which is also a very nice feature. The glass lid with a little steam hole and the solid metal lid is also a bonus. It's a bit pricey, but it's a great multi-use investment.
Le Creuset Worth the money
I have been through two double boilers. This pot is thick stainless steel, comes with two, a glass and stainless steel lid.
It has a nice exterior shine. The heat is evenly distributed and it is easy to clean. It is definitely worth the money and I plan to buy this brand again.
Big Price, Small Size!
I thought that the pan and steamer would be larger. As you can see, from my placed picture, that it just hold a medium bunch of spinach. It's better than what I had so, I'll keep it. Nice solid pan and steamer. JMC

Le Creuset Forged Hard-Anodized 11 3/4-Inch Nonstick Stir-Fry Pan

Truely Amazing! Best Purchase Ever!
I LOVE this pan! It is amazing and is a great addition to my kitchen. It is very deep and large so you can fit a lot in it. I only cook for two, but still, with veggie stir-frys they can start really big before the water is cooked out - with this pan you can still easily stir everything even when it has a lot in it. With my older pan, I had to "fold" things over carefully and would have a lot fall out the sides. This pan is heavy, but it is really easy to move around since it has handles on both sides. Nothing has stuck to it at all, it's been a complete breeze to clean and I can use less oil. We even forgot about it and had leftovers dry in it over a few days, and even with dried crusted on food, it just rinsed off! I am incredibly happy to have bought this. I also own the 8" forged nonstick fry-pan from Le Creuset, also amazing and highly recommended, and between the two I no longer use any other pans.
Great quality
The pan is heavy and incredibly well made. Exactly what I was looking for. In difference to other Le Creuset products, it is not made in France, but in China. That does not seem to have any negative effect on the quality.
Non-stick (unlike other 'non-stick' stir fry pans)
Purchased this stir-fry pan several weeks ago and I am really happy with it. Unlike other products which claim to be 'non-stick' - this pan is actually non-stick - great for health conscious people as you really don't need to use much oil when stir- frying.

This pan is quite heavy, so you know you are getting quality here - and heat distribution makes for more even cooking (no hot spots).

Deep pan means I can cook a stir-fry/fried rice to feed about 4-5 people with an appetite, without worrying about over-filling.

Certainly recommend this product, especially at this price!

Le Creuset 3-Ply Stainless-Steel 9-1/2-Inch Nonstick Fry Pan

Really nice - heavy - sturdy - and nonstick surface seems more durable
I'm not all that crazy about nonstick pans as I've heard there can be some ill health effects from the chemicals used in the nonstick surfaces. However, they are extremely convenient, and I also read that the chemicals are being phased out. This pan is advertised by Le Creuset as having a "forged hard-anodized non stick surface" and the surface seems much "tougher" than the old Teflon skillet we had before... less susceptible to scratches and seems much more durable. The pan itself is quite heavy, substantial and distributes heat well. The non stick surface works well, releasing food with no issues without any need for oil or sprays.

Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase and can recommend this pan.
an excellent and essential cooking item
I replaced a worn-out 10" non-stick with this one by Le Creuset. Having other cooking utensils by Le Creuset made this an easy choice. I've not used it several times and find it of excellent quality and just as the product description describes it.

Highly recommended.
Good but not great.
This pan has a very good shape, size, and weight for everyday use. The nonstick surface, however, has a tendency to wear off easily. By that I mean the Teflon coating disappeared with less than 20 uses. Company has been good to replace the pans free of charge under their warranty.

Le Creuset Forged Hard Anodized Skillet Set

Incredible pan but here is a little more info on it.....
I love Le Creuset products and this one is no exception. When the box arrives, you will see that it says 30 CM/11 3/4" inches in diameter. While under the actual pan itself it does say 12" inches as the Amazon description states, measured, the actual cooking space is 11 3/4". Also, it is not mentioned anywhere on the box or instructions but going on the Le Creuset website, I found that both the pan and splatter guard are made in China. For those that prefer an American/European made product (as I do but it is hard nowadays to not have an Asian made product somewhere in your home), this may not be for you. The construction of the pan is great. It is heavier than my 13" All Clad Stainless Steel non-stick pan and I love the fact that this pan is thicker than any other pan in its class. The sides are 1/4" in thick which results in superior heat retention with no hot spots. I have used Anolon, Circulon, All-Clad etc and (with the exception of select cast iron cookware) no other brand that...
a good buy
needed a large skillet and a new splatter guard. this does the trick. distributes heat well and cleans up beautifully. the dual opposing handles are a good idea; otherwise, i probably wouldn't be able to lift a full skillet. my only disappointment is in trying to find the lid that fits it. it needs both a lid (preferable see-through) and a splatter guard to be the perfect product.
Excellent quality
We use this set almost daily, and it is the best skillet and screen I've ever used! Le creuset hasn't disappointed yet

Le Creuset Enameled Cast-Iron 2-3/4-Quart Soup Pot, Flame

Excellent for slow cooking
I've used my LeCreuset for many years and find it excellent for making dishes that require long slow cooking because of its ability to keep an even temperature w/o hotspots. Although I confess a bias towards unenamaled cast iron pots, they can't be used for acidic dishes such as tomato sauces. When I cook acidic foods, I happily rely upon my LeCreuset pans for good results.

My only reason for not giving this product 5 stars is that the enamel has a small susceptability to chipping. This is a minor annoyance and shouldn't discourage anyone.

Last I agree with another reviewer who said this brand it the best. Imitiations I have used have not performed as well.
Great Soup Pot
I recently purchased this pan and am very pleased with it. The Flame finish is as gorgeous as ever, but more importantly, the pan is of unsurpassable quality. Just be careful the first time you use it, you'll be surprised by how well it distributes heat.
Functional and High- Quality at a Terrific Price
Le Creuset's 2 5/8-Quart Soup Pot is a wonderful addition to my kitchen. The pot is attractive, and cooks well. It is designed to fit the small burner on our ranges, so it doesn't take up lots of space when cooking. The pot works best when making modest sized servings of soups or stews which fits my family's needs perfectly. This is the first Le Creuset item I've purchased, and I couldn't be happier.

Le Creuset Tri-Ply Stainless Steel 11-Inch Nonstick Omelet Pan

Best non-stick surface!
I fell in love with LeCreuset cast iron pots, so when I wanted to replace my stainless set, I looked into LeCreuset tri-ply. I cook every day, and I have been very very pleased with my tri-ply set. Comfortable handles, easy-pour edges, and of course, even heating from heavy-duty high-quality pots and pans. At the time we bought the new set, we also ordered a non-stick pan because we go through omelet pans every couple years. Most recently, we bought Calphalon non-stick. BUT, the new LeCreuset are far superior to any we've ever had, plus, a 10-year warranty on the non-stick coating is very generous. This surface is the smoothest I've every used. It feels oiled, even when spotlessly clean. After loving our small omelet pan, we bought this larger one for scrambled eggs, sauteed veggies, and grilled sandwiches. We use it almost daily. Although the material says dishwasher safe, I prefer to hand-wash it, and it cleans up with just a wipe with a sponge. We use one or both of our LeCreuset...
Great must have pan.
I don't have this exact one. Mines much older. It has close to a 100,000 miles on it, used almost daily, put in in the dishwasher regularly, and not a chip on it. No nasty Teflon either.
Absolutely Fantastic
Great product Le Creuset. We own several other sets and this was not disappointing. Perfect weight distribution, beautiful finish and a perfect size for individual omelets.
The item arrived fast, well packaged, undamaged.
I would recommend this item. It isn't cheap but the quality and the fact that it will last for a very long time will make up the difference between this, and a less expensive pan.

Le Creuset 3-Ply Stainless-Steel 5-Quart Braiser

Wonderful Pan
This is a wonderful stainless steel pan. It is big and has a large flat surface, which enables faster cooking. You can have a variety of uses for the pan, and cleaning is simple. Just soak the pan with dish soap and hot water for easy cleaning. The aluminum core enables heat to spread evenly and decreases both cooking time and energy consumption. For optimum results, do not use high heat.

The pan performs very well for simmering and slow cooking of rice pilafs, and sauces. I only wish that the inside of the pan was also 18/10 shining stainless steel. The brushed stainless steel center tends to leave faint water marks after washing. This is a great pan, and the only one you will need.

Le Creuset 3-Ply Stainless-Steel 11-Inch Fry Pan

Nice look and size
This is a beautiful pan. I own and enjoy many pieces of the cast iron from Le Creuset. However, I prefer stainless steel. I was very happy when they came out with a stainless steel line by Le Creuset. This pan is a nice size for a family of four. I only gave it 4 stars because it would have been nice to have a lid. Otherwise it is a great pan.
nice size but
It is a nice size but besides not having a lid, it stained, cooked bacon and it stained, cooked chicken and it is worse. Unfortunately I also bought the set, and after just steaming green beans the pot and steamer are stained. Tried to clean them with scrubby sponge then brillo. Was told to try Bartenders buddy for stainless steel but I don't want chemicals in the pan. It may not effect cooking but for new expensive pans they look awful

Le Creuset Enamel-on-Steel 12-Quart Covered Stockpot, Caribbean

An amazing stock pot
One of my most cherished possessions is my mom's 6 quart Le Creuset turquoise dutch oven that she got when she married my dad in 1952. When I needed a bigger pot, I went to Le Creuset, but was worried that the newer product would never equal the quality of the vintage stuff.

Boy, was I wrong. This pot is amazing! The quality is evident from the look and heft of the pot, and it's performance is equal to or better than my vintage pot. I'm no gourmet, but if you cook soups, stews or pasta for crowds, this one is for you.
Product is made in China
I was not happy to learn that this is a product made in China, not France. Also the enamel is scratched near the handle.
Chpped Enamel
After only two uses the enamel chipped. There is a significant chip near the bottom on the side of the pot.

Great pan for a great price.
I've had a handful of pieces of LeCreuset Stainless Steel Cookware for about two months, cooking roughly 19 meals per week. They're all great performers and very attractive. Quality that will last a lifetime!
Is this pan heavy? Yes, just like any high quality piece of cookware. That is why it has a helper handle. The long handle is very ergonomic, especially compared to All-Clad. We added this to our collection of high end cookware about six months ago and have not been disappointed. It has a great rolled rim for pouring, the handles stay cool, and it has measurement markings on the inside of the pan. I have owned All-Clad in the past and I think this is a better design, and better quality for less money. And be sure to check out the steamer basket insert, the single best tool I have ever used for steaming vegetables, hands down.
Great pots can't wait to upgrade my skillets
I've had this pot for around 6 months now and like it quite a bit. It heats up extremely quick and is great to cook with. The lip that these pots have is a god-send if you're like me and tend to strain or pour items out of your pots and then return to the heater. There's no over-spill or trickling down the side of the pot. They really work!

The lifetime warranty on these pots allows you to wash them in the dishwasher which is great. I have only had discoloring on the inner-bottom portion of my pots but this is expected when cooking with pots that have stainless steel exposed. Scouring with Bar Keepers Friend will remove this but is unnecessary.

I had wanted to upgrade to pots that I felt I would keep for a long time. I initially had bought a set of Calphalon hard anodized aluminum pots based on the discount on Amazon as well as the reviews. I found the pots excessively tedious to clean and were not very uniform with heating. These pots on the other hand are...

Le Creuset Tri-Ply Stainless Steel 5-1/4-Quart Multi-Pot with Lid and 2 Inserts

Kitchen workhorse
This was a splurge for me, but I have no regrets. I bought it because I wanted to eliminate my collection of cheap, semi-adequate pans that were taking up too much space in my kitchen and it sounded like a pan-acea (sorry!). It has turned out to be a very good quality workhorse pot that I reach for all the time. Using the pot alone I've cooked many batches of spaghetti sauce, chili, curry, stew, soup, and jam. In addition to cooking pasta I find the deep insert useful for making stock, blanching vegetables before freezing, etc. The shallow insert is useful when I'm using the main pot for boiling root vegetables and I wish to add leafy vegetables to the meal. If I only had one kitchen pot, this is the one I'd choose. Pros: versatile; great quality; excellent heat distribution so I haven't burned anything; Cons: needs oven gloves to handle when hot; inserts have ridges that need attention to clean. Overall I'm very happy with this pot.
LOVE this little multipot!
I do a lot of steaming and wanted a steamer with a larger capacity, and also wanted a 5-6 quart stockpot, and WOW! This is just GREAT! I probably won't use the pasta insert much, but who knows - I just love this pot so much that I might have to start eating pasta. It is gorgeous looking, and very lightweight! Half the overall size of the big 12 quart multipots, but so much more functional for my needs.
Way more than I expected - the picture does not do justice
This set is so absolutely beautiful. I had no idea it would be so fabulous. Each and every piece are of the highest quality I've ever seen. And I know Le Creuset products cook food to precision and the meals come out better than you ever expect. I bought this set for a gift for my sister, and I'm so pleased and glad and proud that I did. She loves cooking, and I so know she will get many years of joy utilizing these fantastic pieces. Really, I was blown away. Thank you Le Creuset producing and offering such exquisitely fine products, and thank you Amazon for having it in your stock and shipping it so securely and promptly. I'm a VERY happy - thrilled even - very blessed customer. Thank you.

Le Creuset 3-Ply Stainless-Steel 3-Quart Saute Pan

Fantastic Pan!
I wanted to review this pan because I've noticed that there aren't many reviews on this line of Le Creuset. Of course, everyone who is interested in this line is most likely already familiar with Le Creuset's superior enameled cast iron line - those pots and pans are workhorses of your kitchen, and I believe everyone needs a solid dutch oven in their kitchen arsenal.

On to this saute pan - it's one of my favorites! I was having a hard time deciding between Le Creuset's line of stainless steel and All Clad's highly regarded line. I honestly don't think you can go wrong with either. Having used both lines, I can honestly say that these two are solid competitors - and I can't find fault with either brand.

I think when choosing between Le Creuset stainless and All Clad, one has to consider the "feel" of the pot or pan. I know many are irritated with All Clad's handles, so comfort may be an issue - I preferred the Le Creuset line because of the "Easy pour"...
