Circulon Cookware Espree 10-Piece Hard Anodized Set

Great Cookware Set
We've had this set for about 8 months now and we have no regrets. I just cooked an omelet this morning with no butter or oil and it slid right out of the pan. The non-stick surface is not only slick, but it's strong as well. I've had teflon pans in the past that scratch very easily. I know I shouldn't but sometimes I'll use a metal fork or spoon to flip bacon or stir sauce, etc, and I still see no scratches on any surfaces.

A feature that interested me when I bought it but wasn't quite convinced it would work are all of the grooves/rings on the bottom interior of all of the cookware. They are supposed to reduce utensil contact with the non-stick surface, and at the same time create more even heating of the food. I've found both of these claims to be true. Also, the instructions said I would not need to use a temperature above 5 (out of 10) on the stove top because the special design amplifies the heat. I didn't believe this at first but found it to be true too. I...

Circulon Acclaim Hard Anodized Nonstick 3-Quart Covered Saucepot

Best cookware I've ever owned
I bought this pot to go with a recently purchased 10 pc set. Super easy to clean and very sturdy and well made.
I love the shape
I believe this pot is designed to be fridge friendly. It has a comfortable weight, the lid fits well and good quality non stick coat.

Circulon Contempo Stainless Steel Nonstick 10-Piece Cookware Set

great (changed to 3 stars as handles retain water now)
These are great. Very tough. Induction compatible. Metal utensil safe (thought I wouldn't do that), and dishwasher safe. The base is very thick and I've never better cookware for heat distribution. I was worried that the handles on the lids weren't very big and that my hand would touch the metal parts. It turns out the metal bit that connects the handle to the lid doesn't get hot at all so it's no concern at all.

I have the circulon hard anodized symmetry set as well (Circulon Symmetry Hard Anodized Nonstick Cookware Set, 11-Piece) and that is great as well. I was very curious what the difference was and why this set is cheaper:
1. These have thinner side walls. It makes no difference at all. I have pots that cost more than this set with thin walls.
2. The walls go straight up and down. The other ones were fluted to help pour without spalshing. Both sets perform admirably and honestly the is...
Exceptional Quality and Durability at a Reasonable Price
Good cookware is hard to find - at least at a reasonable price! The 10-piece Circulon Contempo Stainless Steel Nonstick Cookware Set seems to take care of both these requirements at once - it is exceptionally good cookware and it is reasonably priced.

The set includes just about every piece you'll need for the average kitchen. There's a big 8-quart stock pot, an 8.5" French skillet, a 10" French skillet, one- and two-quart sauce pans and a three-quart covered saute pan. The lids are unique and have both a plus and a minus to mention. The plus is that the handles are very tall. They keep your hands away from the heat and splatter - and they look very cool. The minus is that the handles are very tall. I know, the same feature is both a plus and a minus. The minus part is that if you need to stack the lids in such a way as to conserve space, you'll be disappointed. These handle do take up more space than conventional lids. If you have sufficient space, you will love the...
G R E A T ! ! ! For Some Things, Not For Others
These pans are fantastic for boiling pasta and low to medium temperature cooking.

The non stick finish is so good that even when making macaroni the pasta will not stick to the bottom of the pan if unstirred for five minuets. That is impressive.

But, and this is a big BUT, these pans strictly prohibit cooking on high temperatures without liquids.

What does that mean?

It means that you cannot braise meats or use any of the popular ultra fast high temperature cooking methods.

The explanation is valid: no pans have a non-stick coating that can handle this sort of liquid free high temperature cooking. This is a true statement. But Calphalon Professional Series pans come close.

These Circulon pans are great, at what they do. I love the way they boil so evenly. I love the easy clean up. These are great non-stick pans. And, they look good too.

These also have loops for those who hang their pots and pans...

Circulon Symmetry Hard Anodized Nonstick 11-Piece Cookware Set

Good - but not as good as the Circulon Infinite which it replaces
This is good value for money cookware. It is ideal for induction cooktops, where choice at any reasonable price is limited.

It is important to note that this is NOT like 'normal' non-stick. When frying, you need to cook with a small amount of olive oil - do that and the pans work great and will easily wipe clean. If you use butter or try to cook high-fat burgers, the non-stick coating will be compromised. I keep one pan for those tasks: it comes clean with a non-stick scourer, but it can take some work.

The main difference between Symmetry and Infinite Circulon is the handles: the coatings are identical. Symmetry handles have a plastic insert whereas the Infinite range were all metal. Main problem is that these new handles are shorter which makes them harder to balance with the larger, heavier pans. They are also not as well shaped. I never found that the all-metal handles got hot, so I don't understand why they needed to be changed. My advice would therefore be...
amazing (with very minor flaws)
Before I start complaining, I want to emphasize that these are very very high quality and the best set I've ever owned (I also have the anolon set Anolon Advanced Bronze Collection Hard Anodized Nonstick Cookware Set, 11-Piece and I think they are both of equal quality (made by same company) but I prefer the circulon set). The anolon set is more beautiful/elegant but not dishwasher safe and don't work with all heat sources.

The bottom of these pots and pans is very thick which make these amazing. There are no hot spots. It was amazing to watch water boil in them and have even sized bubbles form everywhere in the bottom. It is very forgiving if you have the burner too hot as food won't burn in specific spots.

These are dishwasher and metal utensil safe. I use them in the dishwasher all the time but I don't want to use metal utensils in them.

When I first got them, I hand washed them...
Very forgiving, dishwasher safe, great handles!
This is the best cookware set I've ever owned. I actually have this set in a 13 piece that was offered through Costco for a short period of time. My old, much more expensive, Calphalon basically was wrecked after 5 years. The true test of cookware is how it holds up in the homes of lazy, sloppy people. Not that I consider myself lazy and sloppy, but today I was boiling dark purple wooden popsicle sticks for a craft project for my kids. Forgot about the sticks and the water boiled away, leaving the wooden sticks to burn on the bottom of the pan. Once the burning campfire smell drew me back to the kitchen, I lifted the sticks out and let the pan soak for a couple of minutes, brushed it out with the dish brush and there was not even a mark or finish problem at all. I was absolutely amazed - I mean, it was burning WOOD on the bottom of a pan on high heat! This is the second time I've had the empty pan sitting on a hot burner and the pan was fine. I recall that this "feature" was on...

Circulon Elite Hard Anodized Nonstick 10-Piece Cookware Set

Great cookware
I recently bought a ceramic cooktop stove and none of my pans would work well because of the grooves in the bottom. These pans are PERFECT for anyone who has a ceramic/glass cooktop. The bottoms are flat, they cook evenly and cleanup...no matter how greasy/messy...is a breeze!
Our second Circulon set, we love this product
We purchased a 14 piece Circulon commercial set at Costco about five years ago. A couple of the sauce pans that get used daily are wearing out due to our abuse not the product. We felt it was time to replace the set. We examined many sets online and in the store. We loved our old Circulon set so that was top on our list. Two things that was a must was glass lids and heat proof handles which became our biggest challenge. The lids and handles is what solidified our choice to purchase Circulon a second time. This set is great, we are really happy with the choice. The set looks awesome, the cookware is solid and well balanced. It is thicker than our commercial set and I am sure will last us for many years too come.

The issue that almost killed our purchase is that the set does not include a 3 quart saucepan. The 3 quart saucepan is our most used and abused piece and for this set it is sold separate for $70. We temparararily solved this issue with a Circulon Total 3.5 quart...
Elated with ELITE
I first purchased the wok, loved it so much, I knew the set would be a worthwhile purchase.
The pots and pans are fantastic !
I have baked, covered and uncovered,at 400 degrees various recipes in these pots, and the food cooks and browns evenly, yet the food never burns or adhears to the surfaces, its absolutely remarkable, and these pans are a joy to clean, yes I said joy. Its so easy, I almost feel guilty.
The lids appear to be dishwasher safe,( I hand wash them) and although well designed for cooking, the channeled rims do require a little more focus durring cleaning.
I have a glass top range, and the bottoms of these pots are perfect and compatable.
I shopped for a better price, not to be found, typical amazon shopping experience... total satisfaction.
Buy these circulon ELITE, the most atractive and functional of the circulon line, culinary gratification guaranteed!
ONE YEAR update: still love my pans, still look and work like new! I do...

Circulon Symmetry Chocolate Hard Anodized Nonstick 11-Piece Cookware Set

Autograph 2 Coating-----It's Great!
The non-stick coating on this cookware is called Autograph 2, it is one of the latest and best available. It is a three coat process that renders a very durable surface that can be used with metal utensils.

Purchased this set to replace our ancient mis-matched and abused pots and pans. First off I wanted to see if all of the claims were factual. Cleaned in the dishwasher, used metal utensils, even cooked eggs with no oil or spray, then used our portable induction burner. I can honestly say that everything passed with flying colors, the set is up to it all!

The hard anodised aluminum, which is stronger than steel, is thick and gives excellent heat distribution from the bottom and up the sides with no apparent "hot spots". Tried all of the cookware pieces on the induction burner with no problems at all. I will say that it's probably easier to clean this with just a wipe with a dishcloth and rinse, rather than use the dishwasher, the non stick is that good...
Worth every penny
This is my first experience with a pan set in this price range. I have always been skeptical about these pricy sets, wondering if they really are any better. I have to say that I do think the price tag is worthy of the products in this case. I am in love with this set in every way.

The color is great - a bronzy semi-matte metallic brown. I love the silicone grips on the lids and handles - no more pot holders or oven mitts!

They are a nice weight, yet not overly bulky. They feel substantial and are a dream to cook with.

The non-stick surfaces are truly non-stick in every sense of the meaning. You know how when you dump out pasta into the strainer and there are a few lonely noodles left that kinda stick to the pan, not because they are burnt on, but just because of the starches I guess.. well that doesn't happen with these pans! EVERYTHING slides right off of and out of them. I know it is just a small rather meaningless example, but it is something that...
Nice set
This is our first new set or cookware in a long time and our first experience with anodized aluminum.

Anyway, on to our experience using this set, and dealing with customer service:

This is a very attractive cookware set, the chocolate brown coating is very well done IMHO and looks great on a stove top. Defintely does not look like a budget set at all. Additionally this set comes with all the bells and whistles of more expensive brands. Glass lids, silicone handles and scratch resistant teflon coatings. Metal thickness on the pots and pans seems equivalent to what is found on other sets as well.

Using the set with our gas stove has proven not to be an issue - I was slightly concerned using the silicone sleeved handles with the gas cooktop. Ensuring not to use overly small pots on the biggest burner has meant this isn't an issue.

As to whether the pans are truly metal utensil safe - we just don't plan on risking it. In fact our 2 quart...

Circulon Elite 8-Piece Cookware Set

Awesome!!!
I decided it was time to have some decent cookware. I had a Circulon wok, and I loved the high/low nonstick, so I decided to go with Circulon. So far I'm very satisfied. I've been using the set for two weeks now, and it is easy to clean, very non-stick, and works great. I love the glass lids on the pots and the silicone handles help with grip. I'm no gourmet cook, but the set seems great to me. A great value (I bought it for $99 plus shipping)!!! Easily the best non-stick cookware I've owned.
Awesome pans!!!
These pans are great!! They are a nice middle weight pan. Great quality and the nonstick is like no other. Better than anything I have ever had. They cook evenly with no hot spots. I think these pans will last me a very long time and I plan to add to the set in the future. I would definitely recommend these pans to anyone.
great product for the price
I am really satisfied with this cookware set. The pans heat nice and evenly, the handles stay cool, and the set is very sturdy without being overly heavy. The glass lids are sturdy and well made also. The only thing i'm not in love with is the circular pattern at the bottom. I know this is circulon's trademark but it makes it a little more difficult to scrape food off of the teflon.

Circulon Premier Professional 13-piece Hard-anodized Cookware Set Chocolate Stainless Steel Base

Love Love Love my new cookware set
I've been waiting a long time to purchase a really nice cookware set. I've had my eyes on this set for a very long time and after much debate, i finally purchased on amazon. When it arrived, I was so impressed. I anxiously took everything out of the box and rush to the kitchen to start cooking (also, I must say that the way the company packaged this 13 piece set in the box was amazing). After I finished cooking, I had food that "appeared" to have been stuck on...but to my surprise, it was just an illusion. Cleaning these pots were amazing and were like magic. I simply had to wipe away my mess with very little pressure or effort. I don't know how else to describe this cookware set other than saying this is in fact the best investment I've made this month. The seller shipped this out asap and I received it in a timely manner. The seller also answered some questions that I had in a timely fashion and was very friendly and professional. Overall I love this set. It's a very...
In love with my cookware!
I got this set for my birthday and I am in love. The set is durable, handles don't heat up during cooking and the pots and pans heat up so high, you may have to slightly adjust you cooking settings. My old pots and pans were T-Fal. I have never seen water boil so vigorously and quickly as they do in the Circulon pots and pans. The non-stick feature is also much better. I cooked ground turkey in the pan and forgot to spray the pan with cooking spray. I cooked the turkey without any oil or spray and didn't realize what I had done until the turkey was fully cooked! No negatives to report thus far.
GREAT PANS
I LOVE MY NEW PANS...WE HAD WAITED QUITE A WHILE TO PURCHASE NEW PANS AND AFTER WE BOUGHT A NEW FLAT TOP STOVE IT WAS ADVISED TO GET NEW PANS...SO WE DID. I LOVE THE COLOR AND COOKING IN THEM IS LIKE A DREAM COME TRUE.

Circulon Infinite Hard Anodized Nonstick 10-Piece Cookware Set

Hooray! Quality Cookware that is Dishwasher Safe!
I absolutely love Circulon "Infinite" cookware! It does everything that's promised, and goes into the dishwasher too! Believe me; this can be a very important feature if quick and easy cleanup is important you. Yet, that is not my only reason for giving this product a five star rating. I've owned many brands of cookware over the years, and for one reason or another, they have fallen short of my expectations. Yes, even my Calphalon cookware can't hold a candle to Circulon "Infinite." For instance, I've had a couple Calphalon frying pans for more than a year now. I tend not to use them because their non-stick properties are lacking--so much so that making eggs "over-easy" is almost impossible. I've tried several different things to correct this problem, but no matter what I've tried, food continues stick, which not only makes cooking more difficult, but it makes cleanup more difficult as well. Another problem that I have is that the bottoms of my Calphalon pans have a slight...
As good as the tech edge allows
Infinite Circulon 10-Piece SetThe set is useable on our induction type cooktop, and also goes right in into the dishwasher, which was not allowed with previous non-stick pots/pans. And it cooks fine, too.
Nice to put in the dishwasher if you can lift it there
Previous experience with Circulon II was very good. So, Circulon that could be put in the dishwasher was really desirable. However, they are really heavy and the handles get hot.

Circulon Contempo Hard Anodized Nonstick 10-Piece Cookware Set

This set will make you a better cook!
The first thing I noticed about this cookware set is that it was hard to distinguish, just from looks, what was different about it versus any odd skillet/pot you see in department stores. It was metal, fairly thick, felt sturdy enough and advertised itself to be non-stick. Oh, how many times have a bought a skillet that said it was "non-stick" or "teflon coated", when in fact the outer layer of the food (usually fish in my case) would burn on, leaving the fish filleted prematurely. Sure it did not stick, but what was on the skillet after I had finished cooking left me wishing it was not so "non-stick".

However, for all of Circulon's set similarities to other brands, it quickly distinguished itself apart from them when I began using it.

Cooking:

When cooking my usual salmon patty, on medium settings, for about 9 minutes a side (not using any olive oil/non-stick spray), I not only noticed my patty was not sticking or having a partial layer burned on...
Nice cookware set, with one gripe.
Firstly, let me start by listing what this cookware set contains.

CONTENTS:
* 1qt saucepan, with glass cover
* 2qt saucepan, with glass cover
* 8qt stockpot, with glass cover
* 3qt saute pan, with glass cover (cover also fits 10" skillet)
* 8" skillet
* 10" skillet

SURFACES:
* Exterior: Heavy gauge, anodized brushed metal aluminum and seem very durable, but I have not had this cookware long enough to attest to that.

* Interior: The cooking surface is coated with Dupont Autograph NonStick. The advertising sticker says it is "Metal Utensil Safe" but I have only used nylon utensils. The small concentric grooves in the bottom of each pot and pan is what I imagine to be Circulon's "Total Food Release System."

* Fried Egg Test: I heated a pan and broke an egg onto it without any oil or cooking spray, to test the effectiveness of the non-stick surface and the "Total Food Release System." I let the egg cook...
Nonstick Cooking Never Looked So Good: A Circulon Contempo 10-Piece Hard Anodized Cookware Set Review
I originally chose to review the Circulon Contempo 10-Piece hard anodized cookware set as an interesting project, but knew I was getting a "cheap" cookware set. Compared to the copper core stainless cookware set we currently use, this set is definitely less expensive. I couldn't purchase one piece of our current set for the price of the entire 10 piece Circulon Contempo set. But, does the price this set indicate poor quality?

The Circulon Contempo 10 piece hard anodized cookware set comes with 8" and 10" sauté pans, 1 and 2 Qt covered saucepans, a 3 Qt covered sautoir (straight sided sauté pan), and an 8 Qt covered stockpot. The lid for either the stockpot or covered sautoir also fits the 10" sauté pan. The clear shatter resistant tempered glass lids boast decorative silicon and stainless steel handles and stainless steel rims. The pans, oven safe to 400
