Another irreplaceable classic kitchen utensil handed down to me from my great grandmother. This utilizes a bygone era in cooking that never stops working, for years to come. No electricity, no batteries, nothing to break or stop running. Ideal for making carrot salad, coleslaw, etc., all manually and perfectly so. Well worth the investment. food shredder/slicer
I bought this because my salad shooter motor bit the dust and this reminded me of a shredder my mom had when I was a kid (in the 1960's, but hers was old even then). Well made and extremely durable. It does a beautiful job cutting carrots, radishes, cucumbers; cabbage takes a little bit of coaxing to get shredded but it does a good job. I put the rinsed cones & top of the device in my dishwasher and hand wash the base to preserve the suction base.

I love this product. My mom has had one similar to this for years. After ten years of searching, I found it. One of a kind. Great product. Will last through your lifetime.
