Not Made Well At All!
The second time we used this machine the cutter head became loose and jammed right in the middle of an event. (The kids at the show were very disappointed.) I tried to contact the seller through emails and phone calls and they never answer me. I must say that Amazon was great and offered to give me a full refund but I decided to try and fix the machine before I sent it back. When I removed the cover I discovered that many of the bolts in the machine were loose including the bolts that held the motor in place. The cutter head also had to be adjusted and tightened so I added lock-tite so that it would come loose again. The safety switch was also missing a screw and was literally falling out of the machine. It appeared that someone at the factory had tried to make the hole it fits through bigger with a file or something but it still didn't fit so they just left the switch loose in order to make the machine work until it left the factory. I had to cut the cover just to make the safety...
Great Machine . . Makes Great Snow Cones Fast!
I read the reviews on Amazon and was a bit skeptical. Now after owning the unit for 6 months, I can say I am 100% satisfied. The only issue I have is the unit is quite heavy . . . .probably close to 70 pounds. That is a good thing for durability, but it can be a little heavy for my wife to try and move. The machine pulvarizes the ice very quickly and efficently. I have tried smaller units and they were of inferior quality and jammed all the time. I have never had an ice jam and we use this weekly. Happy snow cone making!
poor workmanship
The snow cone maker had to be taken apart and remade so it would work. The screws were lose and kept the safety features from working. We had to tighten things before it could be used. I would not recommend this product to anyone who does not have the ability to rebuild it.
