3 star could easily be a 5 star.
I've only used it three or four times, but it's worked well thus far. I set the elements to between 2 and 2.5 and hotdogs cook nice and evenly. It's a quiet unit, which is nice given there can be a lot of noise in the kitchen or retail area. It really does strike me as a generally well made product.
I have a single complaint however. I needed to drill additional holes into the shield to install it as the existing ones didn't line up.
Excellent cooker!
This cooker has a shield on the back that prevents any juices from splattering on the wall behind as well as funneling the smell/flavor forward to help with hotdog sales! Excellent quality for the price!
Worked for 3 months.
The Hotdog roller lasted three months and the front power switch failed. We will be ordering a different brand. Very disappointed.
