Big Steel, lots of room
I absolutely love this pan. I use it on my regular stove's larger burner and it fits nicely. You can really load up this pan. I fry steaks in it and I get a really nice hot sear. It fits 3 average size rib eye's nicely with room for onions. This All-Clad line works nicely with an induction burner as well. Although it's not an every day pan, i love to use it when applicable and it's also a really nice presenation piece.
Perfect for a large Big Green Egg
I looked at a lot of paella pans for my BGE. They all had handles the protruded out from the pan, which constrained the size of the pan, since it had to fit down inside the cooker. This pan's handles are vertical, which means you can fit more pan into the BGE than the others (I own a large BGE). The downside is it is obscenely expensive so you better like paella a lot *and* own a BGE (which benefits from the vertical handles). The upside is it is All-Clad -which are incredibly great pans and will become a family heirloom.
Killer deep dish pizzas
I use this in my Large Big Green Egg AND in my oven to make deep dish pizzas. I have also used it on the stovetop. It just performs like a champ, and it has been easy to clean. It is surprisingly light, or maybe I'm just used to cast iron...
